Today, we are attending a Mass for the Filipino Community in Lyon. The Diocesse of Fourviere will be giving a mass for the Santo Niño of Cebu with the main actor of a Philippine Organisation the Amitiés Franco Philippines.

The Philippines, a group of beautiful islands located in the South China Sea, is a favorite destination for tourists the world over because of its beautiful beaches, tropical climate, and warm friendly people.

Another advantage of this paradise over other countries in Asia is the Filipino’s good command of the English language. Thus, an English speaking foreigner will not lack someone to show him or her directions or simply engage in a friendly conversation.

Ile de Panglao, île de Bohol, îlots de Balicasag, de Cabilao

Panglao est une île située juste à côté de celle plus importante de Bohol. On est ici un peu plus dans le tourisme de masse. L’ambiance est ici aux nombreux hôtels et restaurants posés sur une longue plage. Mais les sites de plongées sont nombreux et de fréquentation modérée. Une excursion optionnelle sur Bohol pour un prix raisonnable (environ 40€) : location d’un minibus avec chauffeur pour découvrir l’intérieur de l’île.

Un des événements  les plus célébrés dans la ville de Cebu est le concours de Miss Cebu.  Cet évement se tient plusieurs semaines avant la célébration chaque année de la fête Sinulog au cours du mois de Janvier.

Ces deux événements sont des moyens de promotion de  l’île de Cebu comme destination à ne pas manquer.
